NBA Power Rankings, LeBron James adds another milestone as the Lakers continue to falter

While the Los Angeles Lakers are in the middle of a disappointing NBA season, LeBron James continues to be the brightest spot. James overtook Karl Malone on Saturday night, coming in at number 2 on the standings list. Although James made another milestone, his team dropped to the Eastern Conference ranked 11th in the Washington Wizards. The Lakers are running out of time to climb the Western Conference standings. At number 10, they are five games behind the number 8 LA Clippers and appear to have been selected for the playoffs.

Elsewhere in the West, the Golden State Warriors were supposed to recover once Draymond Green returned from a two-month absence, but lost Stephen Curry for at least two weeks with a hamstring strain on Wednesday when he lost. iBoston Celtics. The Phoenix Suns are nine games ahead of No. 2 Memphis Grizzlies, but the Warriors tried to stay at No. 3, just two games before the Utah Jazz and rising Donovan Mitchell.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, on the other hand, are releasing a late season in the playoffs, led by Karl-Anthony Towns. Cities went down by 60 points last week against the San Antonio Spurs - the majority in the NBA this season - and 32 from the third quarter.

And Kyrie Irving followed in the footsteps of the City on Tuesday with 60 points, top performance, and a Brooklyn Nets franchise record. However, the Nets still find themselves in contention for the No. 8 play-off in the East, one game ahead of the Charlotte Hornets.
